Fran is a partner in the firm and specializes in business accounting, consulting, taxation and performance management. She joined the firm in 1998 with a background in audit, corporate and individual services. Fran is certified in Strategic Performance Management and uses her accounting and management experience to help organizations manage their businesses strategically and effectively. In addition, Fran is responsible for the technical review of tax, financial and accounting work for individuals and businesses, implementing and monitoring employee recognition programs and managing the firm.

Fran’s professional affiliations include membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Louisiana Society of CPA’s in which she has served on the Career Awareness Committee and on the Management of an Accounting Practice Committee.  Fran is also a member of the Consultant Accountants’ Roundtable which is an international organization of professionals dedicated to helping their clients achieve their goals by using performance management.

Professional speaking engagements include presentations entitled “Performance Measurement in an Accounting Firm” and “Making Rain” at the 2005 AICPA Practitioners Symposium. Other local presentations include “Fraud Scams”, “Go Zone and Ketra Tax Acts”, “Generations in the Workplace”, “Transferring Management in the Family-Owned Business” and “Disaster Recovery Tips”.

Fran is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She has earned certification as a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Strategic Performance Manager. She is also a notary public.

Fran’s civic activities include serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Iberia, where she also served on the finance committee and as Treasurer. Fran was honored with the Lifetime Member award of the United Way.  She is a member of the New Iberia Kiwanis Club, served as a Past President and Treasurer and was on the Board of Directors for over 10 years.  Fran serves on the Iberia Industrial Development Foundation Board of Directors, is a Past Chairman of the Board of Directors and currently is also a member of the executive committee.  Fran is serving her second term on Iberia Economic Development Authority and is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Iberia Development Foundation.  Fran is currently on the Board of Trustees of Dauterive Hospital, an Affiliate of the Regional Health System of Acadiana.
